Visitor Analytics

See who visits your website with Google Analytics, set up for you in one click. Visitors, where they came from, top pages, a live view and a countries map, inside Looops.

See how many people visit your website, where they come from and what they look at, right inside Looops. The numbers come from Google Analytics, which Looops sets up for you. There is no code to copy and nothing to install on your site.

Visitor analytics is part of the paid plans (Personal and Pro). On the free plan, the tab shows an example so you can see what you get.

Where to find it

In the builder, open the Growth tab at the top, then Visitors.

Connect Google once

How it works

Press Connect Google

In Growth → Visitors, press Connect Google and sign in with your Google account. Google asks you to allow Looops to use Search Console and Google Analytics for your site.

Looops sets it up

If you already use Google Analytics for this address, Looops uses it. If not, Looops creates Google Analytics for this site in your own Google account. If you have never used Google Analytics, Google asks you to accept its terms once, with one button.

Numbers start arriving

Looops adds Google's tag to every page of your published site within a couple of minutes, without changing your site's design or content. New visits can take a few hours to appear.

You sign in once per workspace. Your other sites can then use the same Google account with one click, and each site gets its own Google Analytics, so their numbers never mix.

What you see

  • Visitors, new visitors and returning visitors
  • Page views, engaged visits (visitors who stayed or clicked) and time on site
  • A chart of visitors or page views over time
  • People on your site right now (the last 30 minutes)
  • How people found you: Google and other search engines, social media, links on other websites, email, or typing your address
  • Websites that sent visitors, top pages, devices, countries on a map and cities
  • Events: clicks, scrolls, downloads and other actions Google Analytics records

Pick any dates in the last 14 months, and every number shows the change against the period just before.

Ask the AI about your visitors

In the builder chat, ask things like:

"How is my site doing this month?"

"Where do most of my visitors come from?"

The Looops AI reads your real numbers and answers in plain words.

Visitor report by email

Paid sites with Google Analytics connected get a short summary by email: visitors, your most visited page and where visitors came from. It arrives weekly (Mondays) or monthly (the 1st), and only when your sites had visitors. Change it in the dashboard: your account picture → Profile → Visitor report by email.

Cookies and your visitors

Google Analytics uses cookies. In some places, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the law asks you to get your visitors' consent first. Informing your visitors and asking for consent where the law requires it is your responsibility as the site owner.

Disconnecting

Open Growth → SEO, then press Disconnect in the On Google section. Looops stops reading this site's Google data and removes Google Analytics from its pages. Your Google Analytics account stays yours, with all its history.
