Google Search Console

Connect Google once and Looops verifies your site, submits your page list and shows what people search on Google to find you, with clicks and position, inside Looops.

Google Search Console is Google's free tool that shows how your site appears in Google Search: what people typed, how often you showed up, and how often they clicked. On Looops you never set it up yourself. Connect Google once and Looops does the rest.

Search Console is part of the paid plans (Personal and Pro).

Connect Google

In the builder, open Growth → SEO and press Connect Google in the On Google section. Sign in with your Google account and allow Looops to use Search Console and Google Analytics for your site. It is the same connection as Visitor Analytics, so you only do it once.

Then Looops, with nothing more from you:

  • uses your existing Search Console property if you already have one for this site (for the address or the whole domain), or
  • verifies your site with Google by adding Google's verification tag to your pages, and adds it to your Search Console;
  • submits your sitemap, the list of your pages, so Google knows what to read.

The On Google section shows each step as it happens. Verifying usually takes a few minutes.

What you see

  • Clicks from Google, times shown in Google's results, click rate and average position (1 is the top), each with the change against the period before
  • Searches: what people typed to find you, with clicks and how often you were shown
  • Pages: which of your pages appear in Google, with clicks
  • Shown often but rarely clicked: pages people see in Google but skip. Press Improve with Looops and the Looops AI rewrites their titles and descriptions so more people click.
  • Lost the most clicks: searches and pages that dropped against the period before
  • Page list: how many of your pages Google has read and listed

Choose the last 7, 28 or 90 days. Google's numbers run 2 to 3 days behind.

Ask the AI about Google

In the builder chat, ask things like:

"How is my site doing on Google?"

"Why did my clicks from Google drop this month?"

"Is my menu page on Google?"

The Looops AI reads your real Search Console data and answers, including whether a single page is on Google and, if not, why.

What is not possible

Google does not let any tool ask it to list a page faster or change where a site ranks. Search Console shows what Google sees; the SEO check and good content are how you improve it.

New sites

New sites on a looops.site address stay hidden from Google until the Looops team has reviewed them, so Search Console shows no searches until then. Everything is connected and ready for that moment. Connecting your own domain is the usual way to be listed: see Custom Domains.

Disconnecting

In Growth → SEO → On Google, press Disconnect. Looops stops reading this site's data. Your Search Console property stays yours, with its history.
