Quickstart Guide

From a blank account to a live website. Sign up, describe your site, watch the AI build it, refine it, and publish to a free looops.site address.

This guide takes you from a new account to a published website. No coding experience needed.

Before you start

  • A free Looops account. Sign up at looops.ai with your email or Google; there is no waiting list.
  • A modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge). Building works best on desktop; the builder also runs on mobile.

Step 1: describe your website

Open the dashboard

After signing in you land on looops.ai/dashboard. At the top is a chat box: "Describe what you want to build".

Write your first message

Describe the site in your own words and send it. That creates the project and opens the builder. Example chips under the box (a portfolio, a landing page, a blog) give you a starting point.

A good first message says what the site is for, who it is for, which pages or sections you need, and the look you want:

"A website for a wedding photographer in Lisbon. Full-screen photo at the top, a gallery, an about page, prices, and an inquiry form. Warm, minimal, lots of white space."

Step 2: watch it build

The agent plans the site, writes the code, and the preview on the right updates as it works. It checks its own work in a browser and fixes errors it finds. A first version usually takes a few minutes; the chat shows what it is doing.

Step 3: refine

Keep the conversation going. The agent remembers context, so short follow-ups work:

  • "Make the gallery three columns."
  • "Change the accent color to a deep green."
  • "Add a testimonials section under the prices."

For small fixes, a typo, a price, a phone number, use Quick Edits: click the pointer button in the chat box, click the text on the page, type the new words. No AI, no credits.

Step 4: publish

Click Publish

Top right of the builder. Your site's address is your-project.looops.site, based on the project name; you can change the address before publishing.

Wait a few minutes

Looops builds and deploys the site to a global network with HTTPS. Sites with a database take longer than static sites.

On the free plan the site carries a small "Made with Looops" badge. Paid plans remove it and can connect your own domain.
